  • Does the agent replace the calendar I already use?

    No. SquadOS does not have a built-in calendar. The agent handles the WhatsApp conversation (collects patient details and notifies the front desk), but confirmation and slot entry stay in your existing calendar.

  • Does the agent work outside business hours?

    Yes. The agent responds 24 h on WhatsApp. Messages received at night or on weekends are answered immediately; the front desk receives the summary to confirm on the next business day.

  • How does the agent handle urgent cases or complaints?

    When it detects an off-script situation (urgency, complaint, special request), the agent triggers human handoff: the AI stops responding and the front desk is notified to take over the conversation directly.

  • Does the patient notice they are talking to a bot?

    It depends on how you configure the agent. You can set a name and tone that represent the clinic. When a human takes over via handoff, the patient continues seeing messages as if from the same attendant.

  • Can the agent answer questions about insurance and procedures?
